Dave is a third generation waste hauler, who brings more than 30
years of experience to California Waste Recovery Systems.
Dave, like his father Rudy, pioneered a number of innovations for
the waste industry. His hands-on involvement built a full service
refuse company in the 1980’s and 1990’s that brought
about one of the first three cart recycling systems in the country
as well as one of the largest comprehensive composting programs
in the state.
Dave successfully permitted one of the first nine solid waste facilities
in the state that combined the operations of a transfer station,
materials recovery facility, and green waste composting, and has
since gone on to build three other waste facilities.
Dave has also held many positions of leadership including President
of the California Refuse Removal Council, a statewide private refuse
hauler’s association.
